Rani Mukherjee Middle Finger Act No One Killed Jessica

Rani Mukherjee who will be soon seen in the film No One Killed Jessica has managed to create quite a ruckus with the Censor Board due to a certain action of hers in one of the scenes of the film where she gestures with her middle finger pointing upwards.

This act according to the censors is quite an indecent, inappropriate and inept gesture and will be seen as an offensive one. Thus to avoid any further speculations about the scene, the board has given the statement that it is not apt for family viewing if this obscene gesture stays is not censored.

However, director Raj Kumar Gupta has expressed disappointment with the order saying that the scene where Rani Mukherjee is seen walking in the office corridors with this finger gesture was quite crucial for the film’s plot. He felt that this blurring of the image would lessen the impact of the scene.

The film has Vidya Balan essaying the role of Jessica and Rani Mukherjee in the role of her lawyer. The realistic film based on actual facts has been quite in the news ever since it went on the floors.

Rani Mukherjee has enacted the role of a lawyer with utmost perfection, but she still faces the wrath from several sources due to her puffing in the film along with the foul language that she has used in some of her dialogues.

Sonakshi Sinha harassed at 26/11 tribute event

It is a question that is being raised to not just the involved party but all of India, as to what occasion will it take for the average Indian man to behave himself in public places. Recently, Gul Panag was ill-treated at the Delhi Marathon by the very people who were participating in it. The actress couldn't file charges as it is difficult to recognise miscreants who indulge in such obscene acts concealing themselves in numbers. She blamed it on Delhi culture.

Yet again another young actress had to undergo a similar incident. Sonakshi came to attend an event organised by three NGOs in the memory of 26/11 victims at the Gandhi garden near the Mantralaya in South Mumbai. Sonakshi came to the event, sat for an hour and just as she was leaving a large group of people began following her. Among those who were her ardent fans, few were there just to create trouble. Sonakshi sensed something ugly and tried to fasten her stride, but the mob followed relentlessly. Some of them some started saying, "Idhar dekho naa, humse baat karo naa" as they tried coming close and some touched her on her arm and her shoulder. Their behaviour was disgusting and out-of order.

Kangana Ranaut sizzles at BeYu Fashion Awards 2010

The second edition of the BeYu awards proved to be much bigger this year. The two-day fashion extravaganza got an eclectic mix of designers from across the country. With many sandalwood stars being the showstopper for participating designers in the show, it surely looked like an event high on glitz and glamour. The show, presented by Lawman Pg 3 jeans, showcased scintillating creations from 12 promising designers.

Hosted by non other than the very Style Guru of India, Prasad Bidapa, the show indeed proved to be a thing that people would look forward to in years to come. Models sashayed down the ramp showcasing the work of some of the best designers, both from the city and outside. And what burst forth were designs that were original, experimental and unexplored. The country’s top models sashayed in and out, seemingly draped in clothes as light as air and yet the chic quotient never wavered.

The two-day fiesta reached its peak when the show-stopper for LAWMAN Pg3 jeans, Kangana Ranaut set the ramp on fire with her curvaceous figure and feline walk. Having walked for the brand, Kangana said, “I find Lawman Pg 3 one of the most innovative international fashion brands of recent times, and I feel delighted to have come here and taken a part in this show. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vikas Jain, Director Kewal Kiran Clothing Ltd. Said, “It is intriguing to read the mind’s of the current generation and meet their style aspirations. We are very proud and happy to have Kangana Ranaut as part of this show”. “She is one of the most stylish actors in Bollywood and is looked upon not only as a style icon but also a trend setter.”

Mumbai: Deepika and Katrina to act in Housefull 2- The latest buzz in tinsel tonw is that the film industry has expected the unexpected.

Buzz was in the air that Bollywood divas Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif who were not on talking terms as Ranbir Kapoor showed a soft corner for Katrina has now patched up.

Sources have stated that Deepika and Katrina will be seen together in “Housefull 2”.

For the sequel of “Housefull”, Sajid Khan has roped in actors such as Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, John Abraham and Nana Patekar to join the original cast Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Deepika Padukone.

Director Sajid Khan stated that the film is still in the scripting stage and that it is just John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh who have been finalized for the film.

Aishwarya Hrithik in vishal's Next

Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will most probably be seen in director Vishal Bhardwaj new venture, which is believed to be based on Shakespeare’s literary work Hamlet. Earlier, the director made films like Maqbool and Omkara, which were based on Macbeth and Othello respectively. However, Vishal believably abides by his principle of not following the mode of true translation of the original version.

The industry is looking at Hrithik and Aishwarya as a hit jodi after Dhoom 2, Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish. So, Vishal is reportedly keen to cast the successful duo for the film, but he is yet to confirm the news.

Aishwarya looks stunning in white

Aishwarya Rai looked serenely beautiful in a white Lucknowi suit for a special screening of Guzaarish for paraplegic patients at PVR Cinemas in Juhu, Mumbai on Tuesday November 23.

Aishwarya was accompanied by co-star Hrithik Roshan, back in good health after a health scare - his lungs almost collapsed from an allergic reaction to Levofloxacin - sent him to hospital for a day on November 21.

Aishwarya's suit comprised a long sleeve shadow embroidery top, churidar and white dupatta with silver metallic peeptoe pumps.

The 37-year-old former Miss World (1994) had styled her hair with an off center asymmetrical parting.

Plum lipstick, angled eyliner and plum nails rounded her alluring looks.

Hrithik was dressed in a light blue pin stripe short kurta, jeans, cap and distressed leather black shoes.

Aishwarya and Hrithik looked cheerful and were seen sharing jokes, laughing their hearts out.

Aishwarya mingled with the special paraplegic patient guests during the meet and greet, held their hands while exchanging pleasantries.

Guzaarish, which opened in theaters on November 19, is Aishwarya's fifth and last films this year after Raavan, Robot, Raavanan (Tamil version of Robot) and Action Replayy. All the films have bombed at the box office.

Aishwarya is now taking a break from signing new films. She said in a TV interview that she will start reading scripts in February as she wants to spend the months of December and January with family.

In an recent interview with CNN-IBN, Aishwarya quashed any pregnancy rumors, ruing that it isn't something that she could possibly hide.

Aamir to Romance Rani and Kareena

Ever since it was announced, Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions' film starring Aamir Khan and directed by Reema Kagti has been in the news. There were speculations all the while as to who the lucky two heroines would be who would be paired opposite Aamir in this suspense flick. Now the suspense (pun intended) is over and it's none other than Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor who have been signed on for this ambitious project.

This is the first time that Aamir, Rani and Kareena will be starring in the same film and it's indeed a casting coup for sure. It may be recalled that Rani starred opposite Aamir early in her career in the smash-hit Ghulam and was even part of the historical Mangal Pandey -The Rising. Bebo meanwhile was Aamir's co-star in last year's blockbuster 3 Idiots.

Now with the trio coming together for this project, things are only going to get hotter in the days to come.

Priyanka Chopra's Tweet clarified

Recently, there were lots of roumors about Priyanka Chopra agreeing for marriage as per her parents’ wishes. But, Piggy Chops has rubbished all these reports.

Priyanka clarified on her Twitter account, “What is all this rubbish talk about me getting married! Pun-lease!! Not even close.. And hell-oo! There has to be SOMEONE to marry also na??!”

Not very long ago, PC was quoted in a tabloid saying, “I am ready to get married. I am just waiting for a guy to come and sweep me off my feet. If I get that kind of guy tomorrow, I don’t mind marrying tomorrow.”

Well, this statement of her’s, puts an end to matters.

First look ‘No One Killed Jessica’

No One Killed Jessica is an upcoming film starring Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherji, produced by UTV Spotboy and directed by Rajkumar Gupta who had earlier directed the acclaimed film Aamir (2008).

The movie will have music by Amit Trivedi, who earlier gave music in Dev D(2008). While Vidya Balan plays a character close to Jessica’s elder sister, Sabrina Lal, Rani is set to play a reporter.

The political thriller, set in New Delhi, No One Killed Jessica is inspired from a Times Of India headline which came in the year 2006, when the accused in the infamous murder case were acquitted by the lower courts, leading to nationwide protests, and after that the case was reopened.

The main accused in the murder case was sentenced to life imprisonment and on 19th April 2010, the Supreme Court of India reaffirmed the life sentence for the guilty.

Here is the first look of the film which will release on January 7.
